Sophia is the best dog in the whole entire world.

How did I get so lucky?

On October 17, 2009

she will turn four years old.

We have been together since she was 8 weeks...

man how time flies...

it seems like just last week,

I was preparing for her arrival 

into my world

and now,

our two worlds are combined

and together,

we live a magical life.

I love you Sophia Face.

all of these treasure were left out

so in the morning i stumbled upon a heap 

of clothing outside my apartment at 8 am

first dibs for me, just how i like it...

i cannot believe that this summer

is almost over

and my journey in california is almost complete.

four long years...

this makes me sad,

but i will be back one day...

right now i just need some east coast love.

it is crazy how different the  coasts are,

i mean,

we are the united states of america

however,

united is one thing we are not

and i don't even know what the deal is with that.

freedom will never be free

and the cost of living, 

that seems to only go up each day.

especially out here in california.

so i have decided to take a time out,

a much needed time out.

and reunite with family i never get to see,

have sleepovers at grams house,

bake, bake, bake,

and take the time to pursue what i love.

It's all about the seasons...

so lately i have been 

looking into looks for the 

fall/winter season of 2009/2010

here are a few things i am liking...

you always need good boots in the winter...

good looking and good feeling.

i am still dying inside for a lindsey thornburg cloak...

is anyone listening out there?

these are just really fun.

as paris hilton likes to say...

that's hot.

tights are essential 

during any season.

there is something about gloves,

they are very elegant and just

make one feel luxurious in some way.

and those jean thigh highs...

killer.

a little more fancy.

sequence is one of the best fashions ever developed.

enough said.

very goth meets victorian,

love it.

it just never goes out of style.

very nice for a laid back look.

could definitely be worn as a more fitted look,

her jacket is a bit big.

even though it is still summer

i can't help but get started

Hello there...

I was on a little hiatus,

but now I am back!

Two of my very good friends Maddie and CoCo, 

came to visit me in Oakland a little while ago,

Maddie and CoCo's visit was so much fun... they were only here for two days but it seemed sooo much longer! I really enjoy Maddie's style of photography especially in her documentary work and I am really glad that I got to be a part of that while she was here. 

Black and white images are always so timeless and these images inspire me to shoot more black and white photography. Magnificent friends, food, photos, and my dog... there is no better way to spend a weekend!

Flying High...

Sophia and I are on vacation to Pennsylvania for a week!

We are going to swim, attend a graduation, visit with family/friends, go thrift shopping, eat good food and party party party!
