Job Hunt...

looking for work is a lot harder than i thought it was going to be...
a degree doesn't mean anything these days...
but i am still trying...

this is what i wore today to take some applications around town and chill out at home working on some art projects.

dress- ebay, jacket- guess from thrift store, moccasins- minnetonka from grandma!

ALL ABOARD!

Captain Grizzles Birthday!

we took a boat out on a lake... can't remember which one but it was in between san jose and san francisco and it was sweet.
we soaked up the sun and spent the day celebrating the birth of ryan. thank you momma grizzle for popping him out of your womb... we appreciate all the hard work!
rosalie brought the acoustic guitar and the boys played us some melodies as we drifting out in the water. i must say this is something i need to do much more often.

Some Oldies...

Belly of the Whale @ Ghost town

yes, if you look close enough you can see nine members of a band right there! this was an amazing show at 3am, but then again Belly of the Whale always puts on an epic performance!

rosalie on the violin...

I love Oakland!

It takes a long time to grow young...

if only one birthday wish would come true...

i will own these shoes...

is it really asking to much to open up a box to these bad boys on your birthday?!? hopefully not this year. these chloe boots are absolutely to die for and i want! i don't ask for many very expensive things in life but i will die having worn these boots!

i can't believe that in one week exactly I will be moving into my new apartment in Oakland! I am so excited! Now it is time to get a job and start the "real world" of a busy schedule and sneaking naps on the weekends with my dog... and seeing live music every chance i can get!

A wish is a dream your heart makes...

Disneyland is amazing!

this week James had some friends in town from Michigan so we decided to hit up Disneyland for all of our first times ever! It was amazing to say the least... the winnie the pooh ride was one of my favorites! A big thanks to Alex's dad for finding us free tickets!

I can not wait for next time!

it is time for a change...

If your going to San Francisco...
be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.

so in the next few weeks
i will be moving to san francisco.
this is oh so exciting!
i believe i have found my future apartment...
victorian style with a huge kitchen and fenced in yard.
just how i like it
for me my boy and our dog.
know it is time i find a job,
i am actually looking forward to this part.

the things that will be missed...
the few good people i have met while in santa barbara.
the things that will not be missed...
people honking car horns as a signal that they have arrived.

san francisco is going to be brilliant!

it's been a long lonely, lonely, lonely, lonely time...

Finally, I am a college graduate!

©2009 Veronica Revis

it has been a long time...
this shot is from my fashion class at brooks, which was also my last class there ever!, it is from an assignment to shoot jeans and this self-portrait is what came out.

these are my favorite pair of jean shorts in the whole world! they come from a little shop on haight street in San Francisco. however, at the moment i can't wait to go shopping there for an apartment in oakland/berkley this weekend!

now that school time is finally over and done with i can finally start my journey up north to san francisco. i can't wait for cold weather, foggy days and tons of amazing music

watch out for the band Barnacles... they are coming back with a vengeance to the Oakland area... so exciting!
